Kirman Design are seeking an ambitious, talented and enthusiastic experienced garden designer to join our team.

We are a design and build team that work creatively on a wide variety of exciting projects from significant private homes to roof terraces and commercial projects. We are multi-award winning designers and landscapers winning RHS, Southport Flower Show gold medals, BALI principal award winners and Pro Landscaper award winners.

Whilst located in Blackburn, we work across northwest and nationally. The cities of Manchester and Liverpool a short drive away. The Pennines, coastline and the Lake District are all within an hour’s drive of the office.

Job Title: Experienced Garden Designer

Salary: Negotiable with experience. Relocation package available.

Hours: Flexible working on a 40 hour week

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire (working across the northwest)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading design projects, within pre agreed budget and time frame.
• Create feasible and exciting designs that are in line with our own design ethos and our clients' aspirations.
• To efficiently take projects from prospective client to completed garden stages.
• Undertake accurate site surveys.
• To create all aspects of the design process from Concepts through to sign off documentation.
• Provide necessary specification, construction and design documentation.
• Liaise efficiently and smoothly with clients, contractors, and planning as well as the Kirman team.
• Responsibility for CDM regulations and implement design work to implement this legislation.
• Create maintenance plans for projects.
• Have a good sense of humour.

Skill sets:

• Strong design skills.
• Proficient in Vectorworks, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft suite.
• Good people skills.
