Garden Design Assistant

Job description:

We are looking for a junior candidate to support the senior team in all aspects of projects from mood board creation, client presentation booklets to working on 2D and 3D models.  Drawing packages range from planting plans, detailed construction drawings and specification documentation. Project administration plays a valuable part in the role as well to assist our purchasing & tendering team in bringing projects to life. Some time on site and in client meetings, both real and virtual are also required. This will be a 1-year contract, with scope for extending beyond.

Key requirements:

• Graduate landscape architect/garden designer with at least one-year studio experience
• Proficient in Vectorworks
• Proficient in SketchUp
• InDesign (desirable)

• Good understanding of landscape construction and detailing

• Good plant knowledge, including shrubs (desirable)
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
• Be creative and proactive, with excellent communication skills
• Team player ready to pitch in as necessary and enjoy working in a fast paced environment

This is an office based role in our small & friendly studio in Hertfordshire, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
