We are currently seeking a talented Senior Garden Designer / Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing studio team.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
As a Senior Garden Designer / Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a leading role in the design and delivery of our landscape projects, contributing to both the creative output of the studio and its continued growth.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and collaborate on the development and delivery of landscape design concepts and proposals
• Produce high-quality 3D models, drawings, and visual presentations, and present designs to clients where required
• Prepare detailed technical design information, including specifications, scale drawings, planting plans, and construction details
• Attend site visits and meetings as required, representing the studio professionally
• Manage client and collaborator communication, including responding to new enquiries where appropriate
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative studio culture, supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate
• Support project management and coordination across all project stages

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
• Degree or diploma in Garden Design or Landscape Architecture, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a landscape design studio
• Strong software skills: proficiency in SketchUp and Vectorworks (2D) is essential; Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (or Affinity equivalents) are desirable
• Proven ability to produce creative, imaginative landscape designs with clear and compelling presentations
• Strong technical knowledge of landscape construction, including bespoke hard landscape elements
• Excellent plant knowledge, with proven creative and practical planting design skills
• Experience managing and coordinating landscape design projects across all project stages
• Confidence in taking ownership of projects and contributing to design direction
• Highly motivated, with a strong passion for garden and landscape design
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated approach
• Strong communication skills (graphic, verbal, and written), with the ability to manage time and workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel required)
• Right to work in the UK, with fluency in written and spoken English

Salary: competitive, depending on experience
