Extreme! Designing Sustainably for a Changing Climate

Friday 17 October & Saturday 18 October

The theme of the symposium is how garden and landscape designers can respond to climate change and help to mitigate its adverse effects, whether at a garden, landscape or wider community level, while also focusing on using more sustainable processes and materials. We are inviting a range of international speakers who can provide perspectives and insight on this issue from a global to a local level. A keynote speaker will be Professor Nigel Dunnett, who will also be leading a tour on Friday 17 October of some of the urban regeneration projects he has helped to create in Sheffield.

Chair - Errol Fernandes

Speakers include - Nigel Dunnett, Tom Massey MSGLD, Loretta Bosence, Graham Dillamore, Haruko Seki, John Little, Jihae Hwang
