Richard Easton is the course tutor in Garden Design at the Northern School of Garden Design, with many years of experience in both teaching and the practical applications of garden design.

During the workshop we will use SketchUp models exported as image files to work on in Photoshop. You will learn the absolute basics of the Photoshop workspace:

  • How to work with layers.
  • How to add colour and texture and more realistic shadows.
  • How to add people.
  • The final activity will include adding photorealistic images of buildings, sky, the landscape and plants to get you going.

Target audience: This workshop is for garden designers who are already relatively proficient in the use of IT, particularly SketchUp or Vectorworks.
