Stuart Charles Towner MSGLD

Stuart is a freelance multi-award winning garden designer and consultant living in the UK. His designs are a meeting point of the old and the new, using traditional materials with a contemporary and modern eye for the creation of spaces that sit in perfect harmony with their surroundings.

Tradition is very much at Stuart’s heart and he believes in taking inspiration from the past to inform the future, crafting and reshaping ideas and spaces anew. His projects range from small domestic roof terraces and gardens to larger gardens and landscapes across the U.K.

Stuart is driven by a passion to create unique spaces tailored to each individual client, each with a strong connection to the client and how they use the space, their property and its architecture, and the wider landscape that it sits within.

Following great success with previous joint ventures with garden designers and horticulturalists, Stuart is proud to champion collaborations and what can be achieved through these processes.

Stuart has won several industry awards; Silver Gilt 2014 and Gold 2015 at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, alongside winning Best In Show for Green Seam in 2015 and most recently Silver-Gilt at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018.
