Garden designer, horticulturist and garden historian Kristina Clode has won numerous awards including the SGLD ‘Design for the Environment' Award in 2022 & 2021 and the coveted SGLD Judge’s award in 2021. Based near Rye in East Sussex Kristina works on a variety of projects including private and public gardens as well as school and community projects. One of her most recent projects has been redesigning the historic Iris Garden at National Trust property Nunnington Hall in Yorkshire.
With an in-depth knowledge of contemporary and heritage gardens as well as a heartfelt love of plants and nature, Kristina aims to design the garden that’s perfect for you. Working with both the natural environment, style of building as well as the wider landscape, she interprets her clients' wishes to ensure the gardens created are not just visually stunning but look as if they were always meant to be there. Using a fusion of both ornamental and native planting, Kristina’s designs encourage wildlife into the garden to create a vibrant haven for all and a feast for the senses.
