David has a First Class BA Honours in Garden Design and over 20 years of experience as a professional garden designer. His strengths include strong attention to detail and the ability to work closely with clients in a friendly and collaborative manner to create gardens that suit their tastes, needs and lifestyle.

David now works on a freelance basis, taking on his own garden design projects while also continuing to work with Oxford Garden Design on selected projects. He enjoys developing thoughtful, practical and attractive garden designs, from initial ideas and layout plans through to planting design and detailed design information.
