WINNER of multiple Gold & Silver Gilt Medals for RHS Show Gardens, SGD Award winner In 2017 for a 2 hectare garden in South West France. With 35 years experience as a professional landscape designer, Fiona creates lines that will make your garden feel gorgeous, expansive and inviting.

She has a particular penchant for challenging projects, employing her expertise to flip negative aspects of a site into positive ones.

She evokes the senses: enticing invitation, calm serenity, order or rousing activity to the spaces. She outlines and sculpts using geometry and is proficient at stretching flowering seasons and textural interest through the year to define the newly created areas.

Powerful lines in the ground provided by a paved path in the grass lead you to a secret garden hiding a swimming pool, or investigate the other path, what might you discover? Elegance is the keynote here.
Lovely and long-lasting contrast of texture, form and colour in this large elegant garden in Chobham. Purple and orange is a striking combination.
Elegant and formal front garden. This feel and presentation of this property changed completely when we swapped a central entrance for an 'in and out' style. The formerly 'hard to see' front door became the obvious entry point.
Elegant pergola leads to large pot focal point. Continuing the stepping stones from the tunnel, through the grass to the pot emphasises the line.
Strong pebble sphere creates a dramatic entrance to the garden and forms a corner of the quadrant suggested by the 2 dark lines of setts visible in this photo. Circles are referenced via Pittosporum Tom Thumb and in the pergola beyond.

Formal (ish) frontage provides a long view in the French Maison de Maitre, the cross axis leads to the front door. Roses absolutely love the clay soil and flower for months.
Cascading and voluptuous, Rose Ghislaine de Feligonde tumbles over the balcony rail leading to this elegant suite.

Using found items to make an eyecatching sculptural seat, this raised focal point takes the eye away from the way the boundary crosses your natural eye line and expands the feelng of the garden.

Growing Together, a VESICA PISCIS formed the open space: 2 equal circles crossing at the circumference of each other. The central mandala crops up in many sacred shapes and denotes Interdependence, equal areas of separation and common ground.
2007 RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2007 'Growing Together' Silver Gilt. A significant improvement in mood was proven in a study by The University of Essex lead by Dr Murray Griffin. 500 people spent 3 minutes on the garden.
The house and wall are not parallel - by a long way! The diminishing width beds (left) and repeated planters disguise the awkward shape. Clients love the campanula dotted at ground level.
Clean contemporary steps created a lot more usable space at the grass area, for this awkward level change.
Water adds so many elements including reflections, sound, movement and wildlife.

Conversational benches in a very small garden in Weybridge. The garden narrows to a point at the far end. The diagonals visually adds width.
A tiny unused corner became a thriving hub of connection and activity for the family. Exotic foliage and rising hardwood deck surround and complement a cedar hot tub and create an intimate and inviting space.
Award-winning. Very small and shady shared garden in King's Road Chelsea. Bright brushed steel furniture invites you in. Agapanthus flowers echo the steel globe shapes, t very awkward L shape uses strong curves to maximise space, tenants love it.

Beautifully inviting summer house transformed a difficult downwardly sloping garden into an inviting retreat. The rill uses the slope to advantage.

This strongly focal, meandering stone wall in this shady meadow area gives a fun setting for teenagers to chat and the younger children have great fun playing in here.

Tiny garden uses diagonals to visually expand the length and width. The shed still accessible but partly disguised behind a trellis. The benches invite conversation.
