I have a designed some interesting quirky angles and junctions into this two-level small city garden. The material palette includes charred timber, using a Japanese technique to preserve the timber, called shou sugi ban.
Recycled pool garden framed by prairie and shrub borders, this 1970's pool was given a new life with green mosaic glass tiles and pared back hardscapes all framed by soft textual planting.
