These talks will concentrate on the rules, regulations and best practices that might apply to the subject.
Often, despite there being technical guidance, a solution is not always obvious, or it can be too complex to be framed within such documents. If there is any uncertainty further clarity should be sought, by the Designer from an expert or supplier.
The summary notes or slides and recordings for each talk will be made available to attendees.
Soak aways
Soak ways can a singular subterranean structure or an integral part of a Suds based, site wide water management system. They rely on appropriate ground conditions, soil types and adherence to regulations for their construction and siting.
This short talk will identify the basic site-based investigations that are necessary and how to calculate the capacity of a soak away.
