About Anna
Anna is a sketching and planting teacher, planting designer and garden adviser. A previous head gardener at Long Barn, she now mainly gardens as part of garden restoration projects.
Choosing plants for shade:
In this session, we will look at choosing plants for shade. Most gardens have some form of shade that can be transformed using the right plants. We will discuss different types of shade from deep to light and dappled and conditions such as soil and being realistic with clients about what can be achieved in each. And we will discuss a selection of plants to hopefully increase your planting palette. There will be time for questions.
