In order to aid the SGLD’s Pre-Registered Members through the accreditation journey, the SGLD Accreditation Committee are running a series of Core CPD sessions through 2025. These sessions will take place via Zoom and be delivered by members of the accreditation committee.
The course details are below:
Title: Client Brief and Designer Contract Documentation
Host: Emma Mazzullo FSGLD
Date: Thursday 11 July 2025
Times: 1.00pm - 5.15pm (with a 15 minute comfort break)
Numbers: Maximum 20
Target audience: Principally for Pre-Registered members. Please note this course is not available to Registered members, friends or students in the first instance but if you would like adding to the wait list please contact the office by emailing info@sgld.org.uk
This course will cover the following areas:
- The general principles of the Client Brief
- Agreeing the Client Brief and reviewing practical needs & constraints
- Designer contract documentation
- Design contracts and fee proposals
- Terms of Engagement including JCLI contracts
The numbers for this course are limited to 20 but we will be running additional courses in 2025 so if you are not available for this date or the event is fully booked then please email info@sgld.org.uk and ask to be placed on the waiting list for the ‘Client Brief Core CPD event’.
