We look forward to welcoming you to the home of David Austin® roses at Albrighton, where we will tour the extensive breeding greenhouses and private rose gardens of Mr Austin.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...
You will be greeted by the team of David Austin Rose Consultants who will provide insights into the breeding and production of field grown roses.
Tea and coffee will be served at 10:00 and the tour kicks off at 10:00am – 4:00pm, you will be introduced to the extensive Rose Gardens with a tour of the Private gardens of Mr Austin.
You will learn about the heritage and breeding of David Austin Roses along with updates about the most recent additions to the David Austin Roses collection.
After exploring the gardens, the team will be happy to talk about any rose related subject or experiences from the garden tour.

- Learn about the 13 year breeding programme and the extensive trials required to create new varieties
- Discuss the rose gardens and latest trends in companion planting schemes

Site Specific Directions: The Rose Gardens and Plant Centre are situated together on the Shropshire border in Albrighton. Brown tourist signs will provide directions from Junction 3 of the M54, from Wolverhampton on the A41 or from Shifnal on the A464. The entrance to the Plant Centre is on Old Worcester Road, immediately off Bowling Green Lane.
Access Notes: Event will be outside, so wear appropriate clothing / footwear according to the weather conditions
