Photography Workshop in the Japanese Garden at Cowden
Immerse yourself in the Japanese Garden at Cowden while learning how to capture stunning images of your garden designs.
Led by Delia Ridley-Thomas, a Probationary Member of the Professional Garden Photographers’ Association (PGPA) and District Photographer for Scotland’s Garden Scheme, this workshop offers a blend of inspiration and practical skill-building.
Delia will guide you through the essentials of garden photography — from understanding light and composition to getting the most out of your equipment, whether you’re using a camera or a mobile phone. You’ll also pick up valuable tips for sharing your images effectively on social media.
The day will include a hands-on session in the gardens, where you’ll have the chance to put new techniques into practice in this inspiring setting. We’ll finish by reviewing and reflecting on some of the day’s images, ensuring you leave with practical insights and creative confidence that you can apply immediately.
Your ticket includes full entry to the Japanese Garden.
