This one day workshop will start with techniques to get you drawing freely, without worrying about what you are drawing nor your perceived capabilities. Gradually you will start to look at plants and nature in the gardens, and will start to sketch the landscape. As you gain in confidence we will look at composing the picture and setting a scene within a broader landscape.
The basics of black and white drawing using a range of pencils and charcoal will be covered, with a chance later in the day to follow through with coloured pencils and chalks/chalk pencils too.
