Title: Drawing as a creative tool.
Presented by: Anna Ribo

Anna is a planting designer and sketching teacher, teaching both drawing for garden design and nature drawing in lovely gardens
Course Overview:
This workshop is about using drawing as a creative and fast tool to explore ideas and make observations, whether at site or at your desk. Sketching can be an intuitive way of making notes when on site, a creative tool to explore ideas when developing planting plans and to 'sanity check' a scheme. And using sketching to quickly explain ideas while with clients always goes down well.
We'll go through exercises that you can practice to develop and enjoy your own sketching 'shorthand'. You'll need pencils, including a softer pencil (for instance HB and 4B), fineliner pens and paper- whatever you have already. The session will be relaxed and hopefully enjoyable.
