Parking is on Smithwell Lane, with a five minute walk down to the building. Drop-offs can be arranged, but there is only disabled parking on the site itself.
This workshop will cover;
1 Indoor practice. Creative experimentation - overcoming your fears of drawing.
2 Drawing for site analysis; an in depth look at your site.
3 Creative drawing outside. Drawing the garden & landscape; framing the view.
4 Drawing to test your design; how does it hang together within the site.
5 Drawing for client presentations- selling the design.
Please bring the following drawing materials;
- Large sketchbooks
- A range of pencils to include a 2B, 3B and 4B
- Eraser
- Charcoal
- Some coloured pencils and some chalk 'pencils' (conte crayon types)
- Graphic pens
- Simple black biros could be useful too
- Large layout sheets, newsprint type sheets for scribbling on
