Shrubs have largely been left out of discussions around contemporary planting design and yet all of the principles of exciting naturalistic design with perennials and grasses can equally be applied to them. In this workshop Nigel looks at the various natural habitats of shrubs, and how this knowledge can be applied in exciting and imaginative ways of working with them in garden and landscape plantings. The day will look at how these ideas are being applied in new plantings at Trentham.
