As part of the SGD's Sustainability CPD series, Rachel Bailey has offered to give a 1 hour online talk to SGD members on the evening of Tuesday 25th October on "The Carbon Calculator".
Rachel will demonstrate the use of the Carbon Calculator, Pathfinder 2.0 that has been specifically designed for the landscape industry. Whilst it has its limitations, you can find out how to use the tool to get an estimation of the embodied carbon of your design, how many years it will take to become carbon positive, and most importantly how you can tweak it to reduce how long it will take until it starts sequestering carbon.
