In landscape design, sculptural works can transform an environment, elicit an emotional response, and provoke conversation.
In this course with Lior Kristal, design director at David Harber, you’ll learn how to incorporate sculptural works into new or existing themes and concepts within exterior environments, such as commercial developments, public spaces, and private gardens.
This session focuses on three core areas: form, themes, and techniques. Each area will then be broken down into specific considerations for sculptural works within a space, such as scale, perspective, material, texture, and more.
You’ll gain an understanding of how sculpture can establish a connection between art, architecture, and landscape, and strengthen outdoor and indoor spaces with a more meaningful sense of place.
